I took a course at the Mal- und Zeichenschule. The course emulated Lyonel Feininger deeds and followed the paths he rode by bike when he lived in Weimar. We drew village situations and landscape along the Ilm river he had visited back in the 1920s. My next posts will be some of my drawings from the last weekend. One of our stops was on the castle grounds in Kromsdorf. We studied the old huge trunks of oaks, beeches and planes covered with holes and bumbs.
